How StatsBrain AI builds each projection
Every fixture on StatsBrain passes through the same layered pipeline documented on our methodology page. Raw event data from Sportmonks is normalised into comparable features: strength-adjusted form, expected-goals proxies, home/away scoring baselines, head-to-head history, and league-specific calibration windows. None of this is hand-waved-each league carries its own goals-per-match prior drawn from completed seasons in our archive.
The simulation core draws thousands of synthetic matches from Poisson-type scoring intensities with Dixon–Coles correlation fixes. That produces a full probability distribution over scores and outcomes.
